Nearly six months after swapping matrimonial vows, it looks like George Clooney may already be sleeping in the dog house. Many were stunned to learn that the self-professed permanent bachelor had been tamed by Amal Clooney and that he was willing to change his life just to hang on to her. Now it sounds like he could possibly be rethinking that decision due to his wife's jealous streak over his continued flirtation with women, like Scarlett Johansson.
Various sources are reporting that Clooney made a major mistake by spending Amal's birthday with another Hollywood stunner.
"Amal freaked out when her new hubby ditched her on her Feb. 3 birthday to spend the day with Scarlett Johansson on the set of Hail, Ceasar!. Amal and George had a huge screaming match over that. She ignored all of his calls and texts, and wouldn't talk to him for days. Amal warned George that she won't tolerate being disrespected like that. While Amal is an accomplished international lawyer, she's no movie star -- and someone as gorgeous as Scarlett gets under Amal's skin. George says there's nothing more than a movie friendship on the set, but Amal's seeing red!" said an insider.
Amazing, isn't it? Amal is pretty stunning, has a great job and is accomplished in her own right, yet she is still unnerved by another beautiful woman. You would think that just the fact that she was able to convince Clooney to settle down when the parade of women before her could not would bring a slight sense of security, right? Instead, she is just as jealous and insecure as any other woman out there.
The real question is how Clooney is handling his wife's jealousy because as long as he continues to do movies, he will be surrounded by stunning women. Do you think jealousy and the inevitable fights it leads to could be enough to unravel his marriage to Amal?
Do you think she has any real reason to worry about him messing with Johansson or does she need to remember who it is she married and how bad his track record was before they met? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
