A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera top Digital Downloads charts for second week

The end of the year didn't bring any new albums to the Billboard 200 Top 10 this week, and the Top 10 of the Digital Downloads charts didn't bring too many fresh faces either.

A Great Big World managed to lock down the no. 1 spot for a second consecutive week with "Say Something," its downer of a hit feat. Christina Aguilera. The song sold 238,000 downloads, a little more than last week. Pitbull and Ke$ha stayed hot in pursuit with "Timber," which sold 213,000 downloads and stayed at no. 2.

Another duet (if you will), Eminem's "The Monster" feat. Rihanna stayed at no. 3 with 193,000 units downloaded. OneRepublic remained at no. 4, with "Counting Stars" selling 168,000 downloads, and Passenger stuck at no. 5, moving 135,000 downloads of "Let Her Go."

Yes, this week probably does look similar to last's, because the top 5 is exactly the same. Things stars to shake up a little in the second half of the list however.

Lorde jumps back up one spot with "Royals," as the single rose to no. 6 after selling 111,000 downloads. The biggest mover on the list was Katy Perry's "Dark Horse," which rose from no. 17 to no. 7 after being announced as the third single off of PRISM. The track sold just less than 111,000 downloads, an 87 percent rise.

One Direction saw a slight rise in sales for "Story of My Life," which came in at no. 8 with 110,000 downloads. Imagine Dragons took the no. 9 position, selling 103,000 downloads of "Demons," and Ellie Goulding's "Burn" rounds out the Top 10 with 84,000 units sold.

Some of the songs on the list might have shifted down in place from last week, but every track except Goulding's saw an increased sales percentage from last week (and "Burn" only dropped 1 percent). Expect sales to skyrocket next week, as people cash in the iTunes cards they received for Christmas.
