Kanye West has had a few choice words to say this year on topics ranging from The Grammys to fashion. But according to SPIN, the rapper might be taking a break from these onstage monologues in the coming year.
A video has surfaced from his Toronto show on December 23, the wrap-up to his Yeezus tour, in which Ye gave a long speech about how he will stop giving long speeches, especially negative ones.
"Everything I'm saying that's not allowed, soak it in right now," he said in an AutoTuned voice. "This might be the last time y'all hear me talk shit for a long time. Might be another like six months. At least." He added, "I've decided to completely focus everything in 2014, on new ideas and on creative outlets." He also said he is finished talking negatively about Nike and the Grammy Awards.
In other recent Kanye West news, the rapper has been hit by a lawsuit for his sample on "Bound 2."
