The Telegraph reports that fans of Kanye West are selling bags of air taken from shows during the rapper's Yeezus Tour. One bag received 90 bids, pushing the total all the way up to $60,000 before it was taken off eBay. The seller provided no proof that the "air" was taken from an actual show, but they did write "air from Kanye show" on the bag to make it seem more legitimate.
More fans started offering bags of air on eBay, but none have reached the bidding level of $60,000. One bag of "front row air" is up for sale for $25. Another one has reached $5,000. If you feel like you need some air from the Yeezus tour, check out the eBay page.
West recently announced his follow-up to Yeezus. So Help Me God will be the rapper's eighth studio album. A tracklist and release date is pending. The effort will include the Paul McCartney collaborations "FourFiveSeconds," "All Day" and "Only One." He also debuted the song "Wolves" recently as well.
The rapper spoke to Zane Lowe about the album last month.
"[I'm] just working hard on it, and it's fun, it's fun to work hard and we're being inventive and I've still got a lot of opinions and perspectives that are important and could be inspiring to people that fight. College Dropout, the album, came out of a fight to want to rap and this new album's coming out of a fight to want to design ... it's a joyful noise unto the Lord. It is still the struggle, but the beauty from the struggle. The song 'Amazing Grace,' coming out of the worst pain possible and making the most beautiful song possible," he said.
