Rae Sremmurd: Throw Sum Mo
"Throw Sum Mo" plays almost like a how-to guide for those who do not frequent strip joints. If you do not know how it works, Minaj can help you: "The more you spend it, the faster it go."
Thanks, Nicki.
Thug breathes some life into the song and video, offering his mile-a-minute rhymes after exiting a hotbox session in the parking lot. If you have ever been curious about what an adult male's birthday party would be like at a skating rink, then this clip is a must-see. Check it out below and be on the lookout for cameos by Migos, Birdman and Mike Will Made-It.
SremmLife, the young duo's debut album, dropped in January. The album hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and received all kinds of praise.
"This brother duo from Elvis Presley's hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi, radiate an inescapable exuberance, shouting with the zeal of freshly minted stars as they build off the joyous bounce of last year's hits 'No Flex Zone' and 'No Type,'" Rolling Stone wrote, giving the album four out of five stars.
Will Made-It, who produced the LP, shared a statement prior to the album's release.
"The album came together so easily and organically -- it was really a fun album to make," he said. "I'm just as excited about this album as I was about Miley Cyrus's album, as I was about Future's album. This album is as special to me as any project I've ever been involved with. People are learning now that these guys are superstars, they're here to stay. SremmLife is just Round 1."
