Review: Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull release familiar sounding 'Freak' [LISTEN]

They're at it again. After they're smash hit "I Like It," Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull have come together for a new song, fittingly titled "Freak."

The song mysteriously popped up on YouTube on Dec. 30, but is just now circulating around the web. To try and match the success of "I Like It," "Freak" pulls a few pages out of the same book. An upbeat tempo, dance-infused beat and electronic drums are all shockingly similar to the first Iglesias/Pitbull collaboration.

Even the beat drops and rises in piano and synth instrumentation feel somehow familiar.

To drive the point home even a little further, just like "I Like It," Iglesias likes the way a girl dances, but now he's getting more specific about how he makes him feel: freaky.

Even if there's nothing particularly special about "Freak" and we've all heard this song before, it's bound to be a bona fide hit for Iglesias and Pitbull. The kids just love their dance music these days.

"Freak" is reportedly a new track from Iglesias' upcoming tenth studio album, which has yet to receive an official title or release date. That album is preceded by the single "Heart Attack."
