Forbes magazine has released its list of 30 Under 30 musicians for this year (as well as lists of influential young people in a variety of categories). Topping this year's list was Bruno Mars thanks to his 18 Grammy nominations and his upcoming Super Bowl half-time show.
Among other artists included in the list were Avicci, Justin Bieber, J. Cole, Miley Cyrus, Drake, Calvin Harris, Hunter Hayes, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Ryan Lewis (Macklemore was too old to qualify), Lorde, Miguel, Janelle Monae, One Direction, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Allen Stone, Taylor Swift, Wiz Khalifa and Zedd.
The list also included founders of major music tech companies such as GrooveShark, Songza and ScoreAScore.
According to The Spec, the winners were chosen by an expert judging panel of Live Nation chief Michael Rapino, manager and former Def Jam president Kevin Liles and singer-songwriter John Oats.
