We at Music Times may not always be right, but we're willing to acknowledge (and be publicly humiliated) when we're wrong. Last week, we came up with a list of five MLB parks that were likely candidates to host Jason Aldean when he embarked on his 2014 "Burn It Down" tour. All five of our suggestions turned out to be incorrect.
The four stadiums that Aldean will play is Washington D.C.'s Nationals Park, Philadelphia's Citzens Bank Park, Pittsburg's PNC Park, and Cincinnati's Great American Ballpark (home of our beloved Reds and All-Star Joey "Grand Theft" Votto).
We want to point out that at least three of our picks were based on very sound logic, and frankly we're surprised Aldean blew off his Atlanta Braves. Even MLB.com noted in its article announcing the news that Aldean was a Braves fan. But it is what it is.
Specific dates for all of the gigs haven't been announced yet, but tickets will go on sale January 24. Aldean will be joined by a stellar lineup including Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr. Florida Georgia were responsible for both the bestselling album and single in country music last year.
