Taylor Swift's Best Original Song loss didn't keep her from dancing the night away at the Golden Globes [VIDEO]

U2's "Ordinary Love" ended up taking the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. The song had stiff competition from multiple-award winning acts Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, and Taylor Swift. Swift co-wrote "Sweeter Than Fiction" with Jack Antonoff -- the guitarist in the band fun. The song appeared in the British comedy One Chance, but failed to get the big music win of the night. What better way to keep the night still fun than by busting a move to early-Millennium hip hop? That's exactly what Modern Family's Sarah Hyland and Taylor Swift ended up doing after the Globes.

Hyland posted the above Instagram photograph with the caption "Dance party!! @taylorswift @haileesteinfeld @odeyarush1 #goldenglobes." Pictured are actresses Odeya Rush and Hailee Steinfeld (also sister to Griffin Steinfeld, NASCAR driver). But the social media shenanigans didn't stop there. Actress Jaime King also posted an Instagram video of a big group dancing to Missy Elliott's "Work It."

The video with Taylor Swift dancing also includes Sarah Hyland and Hailee Steinfeld. Additionally, there's a shout out to photographer Justin Campbell, writer/producer/director Kyle Newman, and filmaker Izak Rappaport. Watch the video here:

The music must have gotten everyone dancing that night. Sarah Hyland's boyfriend Matt Prokop tweeted: "Whoever that dj was at the Weinstein party. You are my favorite." Hyland added: "Best. Night. Ever." At the end of the short video, we hear a little Ciara in addition to Missy...Sounds a lot like "1-2 Step." Can we get that dance playlist, please?

Maybe Ms. Swift will get an Oscar nomination for "Sweeter Than Fiction." Music Times will be standing by this Thursday to let you know which players are in the music category for the Academy Awards.
