Ludacris: to perform "Grass Is Always Greener,"
The video was shot with a few GoPro cameras that captured the stripped-down version. Luda's rhymes are accompanied by a standup bass, acoustic guitar, piano and drums. If you didn't think Questlove was talented already, check out his drumming skills while playing the piano in the video below.
Ludaversal, the rapper's ninth album, dropped earlier this week. Big K.R.I.T., Miguel and Monica all appear on the LP, which has received solid reviews.
"Ludacris has been focused more on acting in blockbuster movies than on making music in recent years. But on his first album since 2010, he's still the same elastically flowing shout-rap dirty bird - gleefully wilding out on Southern party jams like 'Get Lit' and 'Beast Mode,'" Rolling Stone wrote.
When he's not kicking out the jams, Luda is promoting his new movie, Furious 7, which hits theaters tomorrow, April 3. The rapper reprised his role as Tej for the fourth time in the franchise's history. The movie has already scored an 85 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
"If incoming director James Wan falls the tiniest bit short of what Justin Lin brought to the third, fifth and sixth entries, 'Furious 7' nonetheless ranks a very successful fourth place overall, with at least one gargantuan set piece that ranks among the series' finest," The Wrap wrote about the film.
