After last month's "Swatting" incident at Lil Wayne's mansion that resulted in Miami police searching the "Start a Fire" rapper's home and conflicting headlines all around the country, it appears Tunechi is fed up with the home. He is selling the massive, Miami mansion and putting it on the market for a reported price tag of $18 million. The house comes with some pretty outrageous amenities if you can afford it.
At five stories, there are nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, which he references in "We Be Steady Mobbin": "Got 10 bathrooms, I could s**t all day." In case the stairs were a bit much, there is an elevator, which he references in "Break Up": "Elevator in my crib 'cause it's five floors, I'm not expecting you to have one inside yours."
The home overlooks the water on the exclusive La Gorce Isle with 120 feet of waterfront. Wayne bought the property for a reported $11.6 million in 2011, which would be a nice $6 million net profit if he is able to sell the home at $18 million. The home also boasts the only rooftop skate part in Miami Beach and is listed on Google Maps as "Lil Wayne's House."
Last month a kid falsely called 911 on Lil Wayne's home, claiming someone had been shot, sparking a flurry of police and media activity. Lil Wayne was not there at the time, but the incident clearly has left a mark on him and could have pushed him out of the home.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, he is rumored to have another home in his hometown of New Orleans, which would be a logical place for the rapper to settle down.
