Season five of Love & Hip Hop NYC has been just about as explosive as we anticipated and there seems to be an awful lot of unfinished business being carried into the reunion, doesn't there? Peter Gunz has been vacillating between Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace for years, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees just had a new baby and Erica Mena, once the center of the show, now confirms her exit. That's just for starters. Then there was Jhonni Blaze who, although brand new to the show, has already made a lasting impression.
We have snagged a preview clip of the first part of the L&HH reunion which will air on April 6 and in it, Blaze is front and center. Sure, she's a stripper by day, but this girl can really sing which is why Rich Dollaz agreed to work with her in the first place. The problem is that Dollaz rarely ever manages to stick to the business and usually ends up hooking up with his protege. Blaze was like all the rest, except that she fell in love with Dollaz and freaked when he started blowing her off in favor of other women.
Blaze has a really bad temper and watching her in action is reminiscent of Mena when she first joined the cast. Do you think that she will fill that explosive void that Mena will inevitably leave? Will Blaze become the L&HH break out star next season and one of the main reasons that everyone tunes in? Now that season five has ended, what are your thoughts?
Do you think that Gunz managed to win back Buddafly or is he instead back with Wallace, in spite of her denials? Has Mena really left reality television, or do you think that she now has her eye on a spin-off show? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
