Fans of Destiny's Child... we have some bad news for you. Despite widespread reports that Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be reuniting for a new album and tour in 2015, those have been dismissed as a thing of fiction.
Yesterday (April 6), The Daily Mail reported that Knowles, Rowland and Williams were planning a 10-year anniversary album and tour under their own names and not Destiny's Child in order to keep Matthew Knowles, their former manager and a 1/4 stakeholder in the group from profiting off their work. The gossip site cited the trio's recent reunion for a performance of "Say Yes" at the Stellar Gospel Awards as the launching point for new projects.
But, that's all been dismissed as pure rumor. A representative for Destiny's Child told Gossip Cop that a reunion tour and album for the girl group was not happening anytime soon, bluntly saying: "Not true. No album. No tour."
We'll still hold out hope for this one day, though...
