Zedd Shares 'True Colors' Album Release Date, Cover Art: 'Clarity' Follow-Up on the Way

Amid swirling rumors and speculation of a relationship between him and pop princess Selena Gomez, Zedd has been thrust into the spotlight like never before. This sets up perfectly for the "Stay the Night" producer, who today, April 7, announced the release date of his sophomore artist album True Colors and unveiled the colorful cover artwork with it. The LP will hit stores May 19 through his label home Interscope Records. Zedd executive produced and co-wrote all the songs on the album, according to a press release.

The first single from the album, "I Want You to Know," featuring his rumored boo Selena Gomez, was released in February with an accompanying video shortly thereafter.

The Russian-born producer has been running a unique, boots-on-the-ground campaign to engage fans in various cities across the United States in his upcoming album. Titled "ZeddTrueColors," fans get to hear a new song from the album at a party, done at a secret location with other fans and Zedd. The events are all themed to a certain color and partygoers get their own special colored pair of Beats by Dre, a sponsor of Zedd.

The first event took place during SXSW and took fans out to Longhorn Cavern State Park to hear the album's first song "Addicted To A Memory" featuring Bahari. Los Angeles fans went out to Joshua Tree to hear "Straight Into the Fire" and then Phoenix attendees heard "Bumble Bee" while boating on Lake Pleasant.

The full tracklist has not been revealed, but a listing of vocalists will be coming out over the next few weeks. Zedd, born Anton Zaslavki, will be going on tour to support the album this fall.

Zaslavki has teamed with T-Mobile to sponsor the tour and tomorrow morning, April 8, they will be releasing the Milo & Otis remix of "I Want You to Know" for free to fans who follow Zedd and T-Mobile on social media.
