We are just two sleeps until the music begins at Coachella -- one until most people pack up and head to the campgrounds and set up Thursday afternoon and evening, April 9. The festival at last announced its 2015 set times last night, April 7, and recently unveiled a teaser video to get fans excited for an unheralded but just as important part of the experience: art installations. The video does not give away too much, but according to the various builders and designers interviewed who come from all over the world, this year will be even "bigger and better" than years in the past.
Coachella has devoted a larger budget in 2015 to the art installations, which almost every person in the video echoes.
As one builder noted, "The art on the field creates the iconic imagery that gives people the memories to latch on to."
The astronaut, which has been one of the largest pieces of art, has been doubled for 2015.
2012 brought the resurrection of rapper Tupac, albeit in the form of a hologram, and this year it claims that this year will have something just as big.
The video caps off with one man describing his installation, which will be shooting more projectiles than there will be eyes at the festival -- a total of 120,000.
Building soon

Coachella will be headlined by Jack White, Drake and AC/DC this year. The two-weekend festival kicks off in two days on April 10 and continues next weekend on April 17. It will be live streamed on YouTube for the fifth straight year and for the first time ever on radio via SiriusXM.
