Shawn Mendes: debut album Handwritten
"Aftertaste" finds Mendes getting moody and contemplative as new love has the potential to bloom. He sings soulfully in his bedroom before going on a walk around the town. As he strolls, a mysterious beautiful girl glimpses up at him, the two making eye contact for just a moment before their time is up.
At the end, Mendes receives a mysterious letter, presumably from her... and the story will continue.

"Aftertaste" is the latest single off Mendes' debut studio album Handwritten. The album is already a big success for the former Vine star. It's set to debut at No. 1 this week on the U.S. album chart. According to Billboard, Handwritten is on course to eclipse the Furious 7 soundtrack and sell roughly 100,000 album equivalent units.
