Over the years, Nicki Minaj has tried to make a name for herself, her rap music and her unconventional style-this time, Minaj will team up with Nike to release her own sneaker, the "Pinkprints."
The new style collaboration involves the queen of pink and the Jordan Classic team combining their efforts to create a pink sneaker fully equipped with a metallic silver base and blue and purple ombre sole, reports MTV.
Newly-engaged to Meek Mill as of this week, the female pop singer and rapper took to Instagram to applaud her latest partnership. "When you're a girl but your custom #PinkprintJORDANS are about to sh*t on every male rapper who's ever stepped FOOT in the sneaker game!!!!" Nicki wrote. "This is just a TASTE of the secret that's about to be revealed!!!!!"
"The Pinkprint" was debuted by Minaj at the Jordan Brand Classic all-star high school basketball games that take place at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. She sported a bag and jacket by Chanel paired with cotton candy pink hair, white jeans and a white hat.
"Yeezy's aint seein these! Let's go!!!!!" wrote Minaj.
This is Minaj's first project with footwear but she's no stranger to fashion. The "Only" artist previously launched her own line at K-Mart, crafted her own perfume and appeared in a campaign for Roberto Cavalli, notes Elle. She also appeared in a 2012 Adidas commercial.
"The Pinkprint" release date is still in configuration.
