Kurt Cobain 'And I Love Her' Beatles Cover Hits Internet from 'Montage of Heck' Documentary [LISTEN]

The upcoming Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck was always set to arrive with some previously unheard demos and new music from the Nirvana frontman, and now one of the first tracks has arrived online. Today (April 21) following a series of screenings, a cover of the early Beatles classic "And I Love Her" performed acoustically by Cobain has leaked.

Cobain took on the Beatles track with just an acoustic guitar, allowing his vocals to lightly float over the backing music. The result is a somber, haunting and simplistically beautiful cover that shows the raw artistry of one of rock's most legendary performers.

Listen to the cover of "And I Lover Her" below.

The recently resurfaced "And I Love Her" is just one of a several new songs to be revealed in Montage of Heck, which is running in a limited number of theaters before it debuts on HBO on May 4.
