Nearly a decade ago, Lupe Fiasco released his debut album, Food & Liquor, featuring a track entitled "It Just Might Be Okay." The Chicago rhymer recently decided to revisit the track and release a video to show support for Freddie Gray and the Baltimore rioters.
The video offers up a tour of Fiasco's hometown, ending with rallies in Baltimore and as well as Chicago in support of Rekia Boyd. It wraps with a quote reading, "Revolution is hope for the hopeless."

Twenty-five-year-old Gray was arrested on April 12 after he fled from police after an unprovoked stop. He was arrested and suffered injuries that caused him to slip into a coma. He died a week later.
It was later revealed that Gray's death was caused by "a severe and critical neck injury" while being transported "handcuffed, shackled by his feet and unrestrained" inside a police van.
As noted by CNN, Gray was loaded into the van, headfirst and on his stomach. It is against police policy to transport a prisoner without proper restraints such as a seat belt.
On Friday, six Baltimore police officers were charged in Gray's death.
The driver of the van, Officer Caesar R. Goodson Jr., received the most serious charge: second-degree depraved-heart murder. He was also charged with manslaughter by vehicle. Goodson reportedly made several stops while transporting Gray, stopping to check on him but failing to contact a medic.
All were accused of misconduct and second-degree assault. Three were charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Protests were organized throughout the city following Gray's death and after his funeral. Looting and violence soon followed.
Artists including Beyoncé have used their celebrity status to bring attention to the current ongoings in Baltimore. She urged her fans to support cleanup efforts for the city.
"People are hurting. Join us in supporting the NAACP to help in the cleanup efforts and provide housing, food and supplies to those affected by the unrest in Baltimore," she wrote on Instagram.
