Red Hot Chili Peppers to cover Led Zeppelin's 'Dazed and Confused' at Super Bowl show

Red Hot Chili Peppers are joining Bruno Mars to perform at the Super Bowl's halftime festivities and according to Artisan News, they will be covering Led Zeppelin's live version of "Dazed and Confused."

Drummer Chad Smith told them that the Chili Peppers were surprised when Mars asked them to play the event with him and that Mars' band were all "great people."

Super Bowl XLVII takes place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey this Sunday (February 2). U2 plans to premiere their new song "Invisible" in an Super Bowl commercial announcing a new partnership with Bono's charity (RED) and Bank of America.

Leading up to the Sunday, concerts will be held around New York City including performances by Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, The Roots, Fall Out Boy and more.
