The Met Gala 2015 had plenty of things to make headlines: Beyoncé's stunning sheer dress, FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson's red carpet debut as an (engaged?) couple and Madonna promoting her own album on the red carpet. But, one of the biggest trending topics last night (May 4) from the Met Gala actually didn't happen. Yeah, that was not Jason Derulo falling down the stairs at one of the biggest fashion parties of the year.
A photo made its way around Twitter of a man falling down a red carpet staircase, with claims that it was none other than "Want to Want Me" singer Deulo taking the tumble.

The image quickly went viral, leading many to question whether or not Derulo would be OK (and many more poked fun on the singer's behalf).

But, according to People, the photo isn't just not of Derulo, it also isn't from the 2015 Met Gala. The image is actually of an unnamed man attending the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
And what does Derulo himself have to say about all the rumors? He's just laughing them off in Los Angeles, prepping for his 2015 tour.
