Yesterday saw another great day in playoff basketball as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Chicago Bulls on a Lebron James Buzzer beater to tie the series at 2-2 and then the Los Angeles Clippers handily defeated the Houston Rockets at home to take a commanding 3-1 series lead. However the storylines do not stop there with the two games -- each stadium had major musicians come and perform to try and inspire their team to victory. Kanye West showed up at the United Center to do pre-game introductions and perform "All Day" during a TV timeout. He was one-upped by Diplo and Skrillex who performed as Jack Ü during the Clippers' halftime break.
The pair did not just stand there and behind DJ decks awkwardly in the middle of the crowd thankfully - they brought a house party atmosphere to the Staples Center with guest singers, dancers and a variety of different actors. The pair started their set with "Beats Knockin'" featuring Fly Boi Keno and a team of dancers that subbed in upon a few Clippers cheerleaders.
Next up they performed "Mind" with live vocals from Kai and Skrillex, who stepped out to sing, while a small white dog named Diggy was "driving" a car around the court. The final 2 minutes was a medley of their tunes "Take Ü There," "Febreeze" and "Where Are Ü Now," while a whole assortment of random creatures arrived on the court including left shark, a person in a squirrel costume and two individuals who had on make up looking like old people who launched out of their wheelchairs into dance.
The performance clearly worked as the Clippers came out in the third quarter scoring 43 points on the Rockets. Watch the full halftime show below.
