With exactly one month until the premiere of Orange is the New Black season three, it's acceptable and expected that personal countdowns have begun until being reunited with our favorite Litchfeild inmates.
The Netflix original written by Jenji Kohan will soon make its return and among the first season three trailer, we learn that Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) will resurface in Litchfield after violating probation. In the latest adaptation of season three trailers, it seems that Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) is working towards a new venture.
"People think all we do is have lesbian sex and strip searches and naked cat fights in the shower," she says in the trailer. "We also do other things."
According to Entertainment Weekly, the hit show which has already been renewed for a fourth season, allows fans to look forward to more Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) sensibility and insights such as "It's good to have something to believe in. Once you know Santa Claus isn't real, it's all downhill from there." With Piper being her usual emotional self and Crazy Eyes continuing her silly ramblings, fans are also shown some unusual behavior.
Big Boo (Lea DeLaria) and Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning) are friends?--Poussey (Samira Wiley), natural comedian extraordinaire is crying? There are so many unanswered questions. At least Piper keeps us grounded by discussing common prison misconceptions, which happen to be true in their case. Black Cindy keeps fans and their laugh tracks a float with her usual antics by singing in the bathroom while parading in her underwear and spraying disinfectant all over her body.
Although we're re-introduced to past storylines detailing Piper's arrival to Litchfield based on one youthful mistake, viewers also receive hints of what's to come, specifically in the form of a wink form the newest inmate played by Ruby Rose, notes Time.
The Larry-less third season will be available to binge watch starting June 12 so in preparation, catch up on seasons one and two on Netflix.
