Brad Paisley has formed his own Avengers of sorts, just in time to save the summer from massive, man-eating beer cans. Today (May 12), after weeks of teasing on social media, country music's most jovial performer released his new music video for "Crushin' It." And it's unlike anything you've ever seen before, featuring hand drawn caricatures of everyone from Carrie Underwood to Zac Brown Band to Blake Shelton as undercover country music superheroes.
Deemed the "Agents of Crush," Paisley's crew is here to crush aluminum cans "slightly better than average." The storyline of the music video is that a rabid pack of oversized beer cans is taking over the streets of Los Angeles, and the people enlisted to help are vigilantes. During the week, they're country music's biggest acts. During the nights and weekends, they're superheroes.
The video, which was crudely hand drawn and animated by Paisley himself is no holds barred at the light jabs at his fellow musicians. Paisley gets the flattering title of "Steel Moonshiner." Meanwhile, Keith Urban is remade to Captain Australia, Zac Brown Band is the "Zoro Brown Bandaleros," Carrie Underwood is Carrie Underwoman, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are on hand too as "General B.S." and his missus. "Hell's Rascals," "The Guardians of the Grand Ole Opry," "Derx Skydrinker" and the "Timcredibles" are all there too.
Oh, and wait for the Florida Georgia Line cameo... it's all too accurate.
It's safe to say that Paisley is "Crushin It." Watch the new music video below:
"Crushin It" is the latest music video from Paisley's newest album Moonshine in the Trunk, which was released in August 2014.
