Stream Brandon Flowers 'The Desired Effect' Ahead of May 18 Release Date

Brandon Flowers' new solo album The Desired Effect isn't set to hit store shelves and online retailers for another five days, but now the Killers' frontman's latest effort has arrived online early. Starting today (May 13), fans can stream The Desired Effect in full online.

The Desired Effect is available for streaming on iTunes First Play until the album's eventual May 18 release date.

Led by the single "Can't Deny My Love," The Desired Effect doesn't sound unlike a Killers record, blending together Flowers' love for the '80s with his always stressed yet beautiful vocals and a sensibility of tribal instrumentation. The synth-heavy album falls in line with other recent releases of band members gone solo, including fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff's Bleachers.

In addition to "Can't Deny My Love," The Desired Effect has been preceded by the release of "I Can Change," "Still Want You" and "Lonely Town."
