Meek Mill Freestyles Over Drake's "Energy" From 'IYRTITL' [LISTEN]

Earlier this week, Meek Mill's freestyle over Drake's "Energy" from IYRTITL debuted on Funkmaster Flex's show.

If there is anything the Philly rapper has become known for, it's his energy. On his version of the track, he uses his signature aggressive flow and delivery to take shots at those who doubt him.

Meek Mill is currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money. Last month, reports began to circulate that DWMTM would drop in April.

The album was originally due out last year, but Mill was sent to jail after violating his probation.

Back in September, a day before the album's scheduled release date, Rick Ross issued a statement confirming its push back.

"MMG and Meek Mill have decided to release Dreams Worth More Than Money at a future date. In true MMG fashion, Meek has dedicated himself to perfecting his sophomore project and it is only right that it should be rolled out exceptionally well," he wrote.

Meek Mill has already released the singles "Monster" and "B-Boy" with Big Sean and A$AP Ferg.

Aside from his album, Meek Mill is prepping to hit the road with rumored fiancee Nicki Minaj for the North American leg of her The Pinkprint tour. The hip-hop couple will be joined by Dej Loaf, Rae Sremmurd and Tinashe.

The U.S. leg kicks off in Dallas on July 17. Check out the full itinerary below.
