With just one week to go until the release of his debut album Forever, Alesso has unveiled one of the most anticipated singles from the LP, "Sweet Escape" featuring the vocals of Swedish singer, songwriter Sirena. The track was first premiered during his Ultra Music Festival set in 2014 and has been a staple of his live sets ever since.
The track showcases the best that Alesso has to offer with his current radio-friendly pop sound that fits with a festival mainstage. "Sweet Escape" starts with soft violins as Sirena belts out uplifting vocals "nothing can stop us now," before cascading into blissful mix of cheery synths put together in a complex melody and offbeat bass line.
We have not heard the entire album yet, but this is one of the strongest tracks to emerge from the bunch recently, though there are still several more that have not been shared yet.
Alesso recently released several tracks from Forever as part of the promo push for the LP including "Cool," "Payday" and "If It Wasn't For You." These can be added to the prior singles including "Under Control" with Calvin Harris, his remix of OneRepublic's "If I Lose Myself" "Tear The Roof Up." You can pre-order the album now on iTunes and with your purchase you will receive "Sweet Escape."
