Drake recently announced that he's taking over one of his favorite cities for Houston Appreciation Weekend. The bill for the second annual HAW features Future, Fetty Wap and Boosie BadAzz.
This year's series of events includes a tribute to Bun B and a charity softball game before Drizzy caps off the weekend with the first stop of his Jungle tour.
As noted by Complex, Drake and his OVO crew will use the weekend to raise awareness and money for a variety of charities in the Houston area. The celebrity softball game, which takes place on Friday (May 22), will benefit at-risk youth in Houston through the Astros' Urban Youth Academy.
Future will perform on Thursday (May 21), the same night as the Bun B tribute. Fetty Wap will rock the crowd Saturday leaving Boosie to close on Sunday.
Last year's HAW included a screening of Think Like A Man Too and a performance by Lil Wayne and other special guests.
In addition, OVO just released Eric Dingus' new HAW2 mixtape. Take a listen and view the full schedule of events for the weekend below.
Earlier this month, Drake's remix of Fetty Wap's "My Way" leaked onto SoundCloud. OVO and 300 Entertainment released the official version soon thereafter.
In April, Drake announced his aforementioned Jungle tour with Future. The tour will take Drake to five arenas in North America: the Toyota Center in Houston, The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, either the United Center or the Allstate Arena in Chicago, the Bell Centre in Montreal, a special homecoming in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre and a performance at Governors Ball.
Future's Monster Vs. Beast Mode tour is coming to a close with three more stops.
Boosie BadAzz is gearing up for the release of his Touchdown 2 Cause Hell album.
