Scott StappScott Stapp is getting ready to hit the road in support of his new album, Proof of Life, which has produced his first #1 single on Christian radio, "Slow Suicide." While hits are not an unusual thing for Stapp, who had four #1's come from Creed's debut album, all were on rock radio, so this is a big milestone.
Scott describes the song as being almost autobiographical. "For years I was slowly killing myself. Drugs and booze want to kill you instantly, but they're patient and will take their time. The same is true of toxic relationships," he said. "I had to start off this story by declaring the most obvious of truths: that I had been torturing and poisoning myself in an attempt to snuff out my soul."
When Stapp kicks off his tour, he will offer VIP packages at all of the shows. The packages will include a ticket to the show as well as entrance to a meet and greet with Scott
