Stream: Dawes' New Album 'All Your Favorite Bands' Online Ahead of Planned Release

There are still a week and a day to go until Dawes' new album All Your Favorite Bands arrives in stores, but fans of the "Things Happen" band can now enjoy the follow-up to 2013's Stories Don't End now.

All Your Favorite Bands is currently streaming its whole nine-song collection on NPR ahead of its slightly pushed up June 2 release date (the album was originally due on June 16).

Falling in line with Dawes' first three albums, All Your Favorite Bands brings together California rock with folk-ridden harmonies. Unlike the other Dawes albums, however, All Your Favorite Bands heavily explores heartbreak, as NPR points out.

As for the sound of the record, Dawes insists that this new album finally reflects their much-acclaimed live sound on record.

"If you go to a Dawes show, what you see has always been a little bit beyond what you hear on a record. And for the first time we were like, 'This is a really great example of what we sound like on stage," Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. And it's true, with rich harmonies and breezy instrumentation making up the record's sound.
