This past weekend, Juicy J was hospitalized for exhaustion but he's already resumed his tour and has announced new music.
He took to Twitter Sunday (May 24), just one day after being released from the hospital, letting everyone know that he's doing better.
"Thank you to everyone that checked on me I'm doing great!!!" he wrote. "Imma drop a new song today I recorded on my tour bus."
The veteran rapper-producer also went on to slam rumors that he'd overdosed.
"I was exhausted I been doing shows for 20+ years NO VACATIONS I dont care about money I enjoy doin this for the fans music is me,"Juicy J tweeted. "I pay my own taxes manage myself take care my family I'm a full time business man I ain't gone never OD on sh*t but cash, #themotivation."
Juicy J is currently prepping the release of his forthcoming his new album, THC: The Hustle Continues. He kicked off his supporting "The Hustle Continues" tour on May 14 in Houston and will run across 26 dates and cities over six weeks.
His last studio album, Stay Trippy, was released back in 2013.
In other news, Juicy J's memories of friend and collaborator Pimp C will be shared in Julia Beverly's new book about the late rapper, to be released in July.
The former Ozone magazine publisher and editor-in-chief reportedly interviewed more than 250 people including Bun B, Snoop Dogg and Master P for her biography of the rapper, appropriately titled Sweet Jones: Pimp C's Trill Life Story.
Last May, it was announced that Nas would release a posthumous album from Pimp C that would pair the UGK member with production from Juicy J, Mike WiLL Made It and DJ Mustard.
