Pittsburgh Video Producers Mash-Up Concert Debacle with 'Jurassic World'

Jurassic World is set to be one of the biggest films of the summer and the Kenny Chesney concert in Pittsburgh was set to be one of the biggest shows of the year in the Pennsylvania city. That said, some were nervous after the last Chesney show at Heinz Field resulted in violence, arrests and a general mess. Using that as inspiration, local video producers Benstonium mashed-up footage of the last concert with clips from the new Jurassic Park series trailer with hilarious effect.

NOTE: The concert occurred over the weekend and, according to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, it was a fairly "mellow" affair thanks to storms keeping tailgaters in check. The disaster predicted by Benstonium, alas, was averted.

Some simple special effects set the tone, with a Jurassic Park-style sign reading "Heinz Field," audio from 2013 newscasts describing the former Chesney show and its aftermath, along with the eerie piano line featured in the Lost World Trailer. The film's star, Chris Pratt, gives his line about dinosaurs wanting to eat, to hunt, while clips are shown of tailgaters drinking copious amounts of alcohol and then brawling (73 fans were arrested at the last show and 43 minors cited for alcohol consumption).

Just like in the real trailer, the chaos increases as the clip continues, with Benstonium editing in Chesney himself as a T-Rex-inspired monster, sniffing for Pratt and destroying helicopters above Heinz Field. The whole shebang wraps up with the silver Jurassic World logo, adapting the dinosaur's head into a more fearsome Kenny Chesney skull, complete with cowboy hat.

Restricted tailgating hours as well as earlier gate openings seem to have prevented a replication of the 2013 concert however. Official arrest numbers will be released by the mayor during a Sunday press conference (they know all eyes are on the city for control of the concert), but don't expect anything rivaling 2013's debacle.
