Ed Sheeran Covers Iron Maiden, Ty Dolla Sign, Limp Bizkit on 'Fallon' [WATCH]

If you want to crush skulls but don't want to necessarily listen to skull-crushing music, Ed Sheeran has got you covered. Last night (June 1), the "Photograph" singer rolled out a series of heavy metal covers during a cheesy infomercial commercial on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In the video, he covers the hard cutting music of Limp Bizkit, Iron Maiden and more with the ginger touch of acoustic guitar.

As Fallon put on a silly voice and introduced the 25-song long catalogue, the video cut into footage of a dress shirt wearing Sheeran standing in front of epic lightning strikes and giving his signature sound to metal classics.

At first, Sheeran whips out a cover of Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills," making the song sound almost exactly like a lullaby. His cover of Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff" was similarly soft, though the constant bleeping of the word bullsh*t showed the true edge of the music Sheeran was singing.

And, he wasn't just breaking out the heavy metal. Sheeran apparently has an album filled with hardcore rap covers, as well, and he showed off a Ty Dolla $ign cover. Though the b*tches may be trying to set him up in his take on "Paranoid," you'd never know it by the soft way Sheeran croons the melody and plucks his R&B-twinged guitar.
