During a recent interview, Jeremih revealed that his "Favorite" collaboration with Nicki Minaj will serve as the next single from her The Pinkprint album. He also revealed that he initially thought the song was about him. Jeremih opened up to InStyle about working with the head Barb and one of the songs they worked on for her latest project.
"When I heard the actual song, I thought she was talking about me," he admitted. "I thought I was her favorite. So the whole time, when I heard the verse, I was like, 'Damn!'"
As noted by MTV, the line that had him confused was "I just wanna be ya rider, you should pull up in that Spyder."
"I've got a Spyder! But then I found out that she got with Meek, and he's got a Spyder too," Jeremih said.
Jeremih also contributed to The Pinkprint's "Want Some More."
Aside from his various collaborations with buzzing artists, Jeremih is gearing up for the release of his Late Nights: The Album EP slated, which is slated to hit stores in July.
Music Times previously reported Jeremih's third studio album will hit shelves on July 17. The project will include "Don't Tell 'Em" with YG, as well as recent singles "Planes" and "Tonight Belongs to U," which feature rappers J. Cole and Flo Rida, respectively.
Late Nights will also feature guest spots by Trey Songz and Fabolous ("Got Damn"), Juicy J ("Can't Go No Mo") and French Montana and Johnny Cinco ("She No Good").
Jeremih released his last studio album, All About You, back in 2010. His Late Nights with Jeremih mixtape was released back in 2012.
