Young Thug's "Halftime" is the latest from his Barter 6 mixtape to get the visual treatment. Thugger's new video was released on Monday.
In the nearly four-minute clip, the Rich Gang rapper and his comrades tote guns, stroll through Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and flaunt shiny jewels. Directed by Be El Be, the video also features some cool camera work. Check out Young Thug's latest release here:
Young Thug originally released his "Halftime" track back in March. His last mixtape was slated to be named Carter 6 but following objections from Lil Wayne, Thug opted for Barter 6.
Last September, Thug took many Lil Wayne fans by surprise when he announced that wanted to continue Weezy's 'Tha Carter' series after it was reported that Tha Carter V would be his last solo album.
Although Wayne has never publicly approved of Thug carrying the torch, the "Stoner" rhymer was sticking to his guns until he received word of a possible lawsuit.
"Can't name the mixtape Carter 6 'cause these f*ck a** n*ggas trying to sue, just like some hoes," Thug said in a clip posted on Instagram.
Aside from his highly publicized beef with Wayne, Thug is gearing up for the release of his debut album. He revealed that he has decided on Hy!£UN35, which translates to "HiTunes," for the album's title.
The album will arrive on Aug. 28 via 300 Entertainment.
"300 is proud to present Young Thug! We believe he is a unique artist who will have a special place in the future of hip-hop," 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen said.
