Wale To Host ‘Seinfeld’ Remix Show on TBS This Summer Following 'TAAN'

Wale showed love for Seinfeld on his latest release The Album About Nothing and more recently he's teamed up with TBS to showcase his appreciation for the sitcom by hosting the remix show this summer.

The MMG rapper is slated to appear on a special edition clip show where he will share some of his favorite episodes. The "Seinfeld Remix" will air June 15 at 6 p.m. EST and will continue through the summer months.

As fans may recall, Wale has been paying homage to the sitcom since the beginning of his career, notably with his 2008 mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing and later 2010′s More About Nothing. For TAAN, Wale worked closely with Jerry Seinfeld and even hosted the album listening party at Tom's Restaurant in Morningside Heights, the set of Monk's Coffeeshop from the show.

TAAN debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released back in April moving 100,000 copies. It marked Wale's second straight No. 1 project, following 2013′s The Gifted.

Wale was recently featured on an updated version of Miguel's "Coffee (F*cking)" from his forthcoming album Wildheart. He also made a guest appearance on Fat Trel's Georgetown mixtape on a track entitled "BRRRR" featuring Rick Ross.

This month, he released a video for his single "The Matrimony" featuring Usher.

As noted by XXL, the DC lyricist will be executive producing Maybach Music Group's upcoming compilation album, Self Made 4. The project is set to drop some time this year.
