Classical radio station WQXR will host a Google Hangout on air with pianist Simone Dinnerstein, who will play music of J.S. Bach and talk about the composer's music with a group of special guests, including composer Nico Muhly and writer Paul Elie, author of Reinventing Bach.
WQXR's Jeff Spurgeon will moderate the event, happening at The Greene Space in New York on Wednesday, February 12 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST.
The Hangout can be watched from anywhere in the world on Dinnerstein's Google Plus page or on YouTube.
During the Hangout, Dinnerstein will perform selected Bach Inventions from her latest Sony Classical album, J.S. Bach: Inventions and Sinfonias, which recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Chart after its release on January 21.
