Country Love - The Long Lasting Couples in Country Music

February 14th - the day that love is celebrated around the world. In 2014, Ricky and Sharon will be spending their 32nd Valentine's Day together. For Blake and Miranda, it will be their third day of love. Regardless of how many years they've been celebrating together, these couples share the spotlight as well as they share places in each other's hearts.

  1. Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White got married on August 4, 1981. The two bluegrass heavyweights will be celebrating their 32nd Valentine's Day together this year. Their secret to a happy and successful marriage? God, each other and their family. They start each day with a devotional and a song called, "'It Takes Three" (the chorus of which is "Lord, it takes You, and him, and me… it takes three." Putting God first in their lives, and each other next is what they call the key.

  3. Clint Black and actress Lisa Hartman got married on October 20, 1991 in Houston, Texas. This year, they will be celebrating their 22nd Valentine's Day as husband and wife. Their duet, "When I Said I Do," from Black’s 1999 release, D’lectrified, didn't just win them the ACM Award for Vocal Event of the Year, it also gave the world a glimpse of their love. Nearly 15 years later, that love is still going strong.

  5. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill got married October 6, 1996 in Rayville, Louisiana, the day of his Swampstock benefit concert. Despite tabloid reports that they've been heading towards divorce for months now, the two country music superstars will be celebrating their 17th Valentine's Day together in 2014. Maybe if the National Enquirer asked how they've stayed happy and together for so long when they started this mess back in August of 2013 instead of making up a story about them divorcing over Taylor Swift, they would have gotten a real story!

  7. Keifer and Shawna Thompson (collectively known as Thompson Square) got married on May 15, 1999. The two met after they arrived in Nashville, each chasing the dream. They met at a singing competition and have pretty much been together ever since. This year, they will celebrate their 15th Valentine's Day as husband and wife.

It was marriage #2 for both of them and blending their families together was a hard thing at first, but it was something that they worked through.
