As previously reported, Pharrell is set to headline the Entertainment Series at NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans. He will perform during the player introductions, and has decided to bring some special guests onto the stage with him, according to Billboard.
Sean "Diddy" Combs, Snoop Dogg, Nelly and Busta Rhymes will join the "Happy" artist at the event. No announcements have been made on what they will perform. Billboard suggests "Pass the Courvoisier, Part II," "Drop It Like It's Hot" and "Get Like Me" as possibilities.
Another likely choice is the singer's Hot 100 chart hit, "Happy," from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, which now sits at No. 2. He is already slated to perform the song at the Academy Awards on March 2.
The NBA All-Star Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy's will also include performance by Kendrick Lamar on Saturday night; the Sprint NBA All-Star Pregame Concert with Jason Derulo, Aloe Blacc and Mack Wilds; and a New Orleans-inspired halftime show, featuring Trombone Short & Orleans Avenue, Janelle Monae, Dr. John, Gary Clark Jr., and Earth, Wind & Fire.
