Earlier this month, Future announced his 56 Nights tour and according to his Twitter account, he's making his first stop in St. Louis.
The buzzing Atlanta rapper revealed on Instagram that he will hit the stage at Harry's on July 4. He has yet to announce the remaining tour stops, billed with the same title as his previously released mixtape dedicated to DJ Esco.
Future put out his latest tape in March, following Esco's January release from a Dubai jail. The DJ was arrested at the airport for marijuana possession and spent 56 days in prison.
He described his experience during an interview with Fader:
I'm like, Hold up. Eight weeks? You can't tell me nothing better than this?! I think I blacked out. My whole body went numb and I was just thinking my life is gonna be over. There's no way I can survive eight weeks in here, mentally. I cuss out both people from the U.S. embassy, and then I walked back devastated 'cause that's when it hit me — I'm not getting out of here. Every night I was having dreams that I was doing something else, then I would wake up back in jail. Waking up used to be the worse.
Last month, the "Commas" rhymer embarked on his Monster Vs. Beast Mode tour, in support of two mixtapes released prior. He also joined Drake on his Jungle tour.
In April, producer Mike WiLL Made It revealed plans to release a collaborative mixtape titled Ape Sh*t with Future. On Twitter he shared the possible mixtape cover. In the past, the two have worked together on songs including "Sh*t," "Never Satisfied" and "Move That Dope."
More recently, Future released a new song titled "News Or Somthn."
