Rick Ross Denied Bail On Kidnapping Charges; Makes First Court Appearance

I'm not sure of what's in the water as of late, but Rick Ross is the latest celebrity to be having some pretty serious legal woes. While just a week ago we heard of entertainment mogul Diddy getting into some hot water after he was involved in an altercation involving one of his son's UCLA coaches, which involved a kettle bell—and now Miami rapper Ross is in trouble once again after being arrested twice in one month. While the first offense proved to be somewhat milder, as he was arrested on possession of marijuana in Fayette County, it looks like he could be facing some serious consequences after being arrested and "charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault," according to Variety. The rapper allegedly got into an altercation with his groundskeeper for one of his properties, and reports suggested Ross held the man against his will and then proceeded to pistol whip him, resulting in him having a cracked jaw and being restricted to a liquid diet. Ouch. Ross' bodyguard is also facing the same charges from the incident on June 7th. Today he makes his first court appearance to plead before the judge.

While Ross was arrested last week, and has currently been in jail for the past seven days, being that he was arrested for kidnapping and a slew of other charges, the judge understandably denied him bail. TMZ reports that the Floridian rapper appeared before the judge haggard and noticeably worse-for-wear, attempting to have the judge reinstate his ability to make bail. As of now sources say the judge has yet to make a ruling. Wamp, wamp. I'm sure this lengthy time out will help serve as deterrent for any future trouble Rozay could even conceive him getting in. We'll keep you posted, with updated on Ross' legal troubles as updates come.
