Most music fans are bogged down in planning out the remainder of their summer between various outdoor concerts, festivals and occasional free events. However, for seafaring electronic music lovers, Holy Ship! is the main event circled on calendars all year. Attendees or as they are known, Shipfam, will not need to wait any longer to know which DJs will be headed out on the high seas for both 2016 Holy Ship! voyages this winter in January and February. Among those who will headline the January expedition are Kaskade, Odesza, Dillon Francis and Steve Aoki. The February ship will be headlined by the likes of DJ Snake, Porter Robinson, Chromeo, Boys Noize and a back-to-back set from RL Grime and Baauer.
There are no overlaps between the two lineups except for Hard Events don, Gary Richards, who DJs under the moniker Destructo and Dirtybird Records man Justin Martin. The January sailing will also include Tommy Trash, Robin Schulz, Rustie, Ryan Hemsworth, Wiwek, Jack Beats Griz, DJ sets from Rudimental and Gorgon City and others.
The MSC Divina will set sail on Jan. 3 and spend time at sea and on Coco Cay before returning on July 6.
The February trip will include the same diversity across sub-genres with more DJs such as SNBRN, The M Machine, Shiba San, Trippy Turtle, Tchami, What So Not, Jauz, Cashmere Cat and others. The ship will begin its voyage on Feb. 10 before heading out to see and spending time on Grand Bahamas Island and returning on Feb. 13.
Cabins will be selected on July 13-14 and July 15-16 for the January and February voyages respectively. For more info head to Holy Ship!'s website.
For those who are unhappy with the current lineup bills - there are more names that will be added to the current stack of DJs at some point.
