Caitlyn Jenner Feels "Free" in Latest 'I Am Cait' Trailer

Caitlyn Jenner tackles the tough and quotidian in the latest trailer for her upcoming E! series, I Am Cait, which chronicles the former Olympian's life after her transition.

The 30-second clip begins with a sentimental exchange between Jenner and her mother, who reveals in the video, "My first feeling was, I lost my son. But then I thought, you know what — I'm gaining." Jenner warmly embraces her daughter Kylie, cheerily uses a knife to uncork a champagne bottle and encourages a gathering of youth that they're all beautiful.

Although she's received overwhelming amounts of support, the clip showcases Jenner's internal struggle with life's everyday insecurities, such as starting a new life after hiding her true identity for decades and being the best parent possible. In the midst of the ups and downs, the trailer ends with light-hearted fun with Caitlyn asking her daughter's opinion on a dress in which she answers, "Mom has that."

E! will debut the docu-series on July 26 featuring eight one-hour episodes, notes Rolling Stone. In a separate promo, Jenner explained that the series will allow her to tell her story, continuing, "People don't understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right, putting on clothes that you just really don't identify with. This is about getting to be who you really are."

Jenner officially revealed her transgender identity in an April interview with Diane Sawyer, later adorning the cover of Vanity Fair's July issue looking as feminine as ever. The former Olympian's transition has been notably public and acts as inspiration to the current trans rights struggle which has expanded awareness over the last few years.

Bruce Jenner received the 1976 Olympic Gold Medal in the decathlon — at this year's ESPY Awards, Caitlyn will go on to receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award on July 15.
