American saxophone-wielding, electronic musician Grant Kwiecinski, known professionally as GRiZ, has released a brand new free download for the summer aptly titled "Summer '97." The funky sax-filled tune is done alongside All Good Records labelmate Muzzy Bear who fills in on guitar.
The tune is slower and more laidback then most of the tracks we are used to from the Colorado-based artist, fitting for a relaxing day outdoors. The track combines some soulful vocals with GRiZ's echoing, sexy sax and soft chords from Muzzy Bear on guitar.
Kwiecinski described how the track came together and why he is releasing it. "I felt like spreading the love and dropping a summer vibes tune for everyone today," said GRiZ in a statement. "This was a song that I started last summer but by the time I finished it, it was almost winter and the timing was a bit weird so I continued to refine it and waited. Muzzy Bearr on the guitar."
To get the free download, all you have to do is follow GRiZ on Spotify - a small price to pay since he makes all of his music available for free. Stream and download "Summer '97" below.
