We may still have two and a half months to go until Disclosure releases their sophomore album, Caracal, but the brother duo of Guy and Howard Lawrence are building hype for the album at a feverish pace. Today on Instagram they shared details about one of the most anticipated collaborations on the entire LP -- the follow up to their breakout single, "Latch" with Sam Smith, co-written with Jimmy Napes -- titled "Omen."
In the note, they share the album artwork for the single and let their UK fans know that they can pre-order it now. There is no preview yet, but the brothers promise more details to come next week.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Disclosure discussed the process of collaborating with Sam Smith again. They invited both Smith and Napes to their new studio in London's St. John's Wood neighborhood to write and had a blast because they hadn't seen each other in a long time.
We had three whole days to hang out with Sam and write, which are two of my favorite things to do," recalls Howard. It is described as possibly the happiest song either artist has ever written, in part because Smith is "definitely not lonely now."
Stay tuned for any further details and previews for "Omen." Pre-order Caracal on the group's website here before it is released on Sept. 25.
