The Premio Lo Nuestro Latin music awards in Miami, Florida have been running for 26 years now, and last night put a lot of Latin favorites back in the limelight.
Enrique Iglesias is back causing commotion with his "I'm A Freak" music video featuring Pitbull. His new album Sex + Love hasn't even dropped yet, but Iglesias and Pitbull ("Mr. Worldwide") performed two of their singles, along with Mexican singer Marco Antonio Solis. Iglesias and Pitbull had a warm embrace onstage, complete with a kiss on the head. Pitbull was presented with the Urban Artist of the Year award by Austin Mahone.
Iglesias recently released a "Beautiful" duet featuring Kylie Minogue. The 38-year-old's album comes out March 18th under Universal Republic and Universal Latino.
Prince Royce premiered his new song "Te Robaré" and won three awards over the evening. Daddy Yankee performed both solo and along with Yandel with their hit "Moviendo Caderas." Daddy Yankee took home the Youth Idol Award -- a first time honor the awards show has given out.
In addition to performing "De Mil Amores," Marc Anthony racked up awards for Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist of the Year (in the Tropical category). Overall he's one 22 awards at this ceremony, making him hit a record for a solo artist.
Many artists recognized the current struggle in Venezuela. Marc Anthony announced, "Venezuela, you are not alone, may God bless you."
