The historic West Hollywood House of Blues saw its final show last night and glam metal jokesters, Steel Panther, invited the father-daughter duo of Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus to the stage for an electrifying rendition of Def Leppard's hit classic, "Pour Some Sugar On Me."
The Cyrus' were in attendance of the venues farewell show which was available to live stream via Yahoo. Steel Panther asked the singers to the stage for help belting out the hair metal favorite, in which Billy Ray showcased his finest air guitar skills while Miley exhibited a fierce strut around the stage--both family members assisted the band with vocals on the chorus.
Steel Panther continued to invite up special guests including 'Nsync's Joey Fatone who claimed he could sing a Backstreet Boys song "better" than the original boy band before launching into "I Want It That Way." Comedian Dane Cook and musical comedic duo Ninja Sex Party also found their way to the stage for surprise appearances, Rolling Stone notes. The glam metal band have played the House of Blues in West Hollywood since their career kicked off and just like their closing gig, the group is known for bringing out big musical acts during their performances, E! reports.
Miley Cyrus has had quite the busy year thus far, juggling charity work and introducing the Happy Hippie Foundation in early May in order to provide support to homeless youth. Cyrus has used her singing and the talents of fellow artists such as Joan Jett and Ariana Grande to cover songs and raise awareness for her foundation. The twerk-happy artist also launched the InstaPride campaign on Instagram, where she took pictures of transgender and gender expansive indivuduals. The "Wrecking Ball" singer is slated to host the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, marking the two year anniversary from her twerk-heavy, tongue involved performance with Robin Thicke.
