Jabberwocky — presented by ATP, Pitchfork and Primavera Sound — has announced additions to its 2014 lineup. The music, art and film festival will take place at the ExCeL Center in London from August 15-16. Joining the lineup are James Blake, Darkside, Sun Kil Moon, Thee Oh Sees, Perfect Pussy, Forest Swords, Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, the Bug, Amen Dunes, the Van Pelt, patten, Oso Leone, Joana Serrat and Paus.

Previously announced acts include Neutral Milk Hotel, Caribou, Electric Wizard, Deafheaven, Kode9, Earth, Pissed Jeans, Connan Mockasin, The Ex, Speedy Ortiz, Iceage, Vatican Shadow, Joanna Gruesome, Metz, Jesu, I Break Horses, Chelsea Wolfe, and Hookworms among others. More acts are expected to be announced soon.

The festival will also feature DJ sets and a cinema program. Tickets are on sale here now. Pitchfork describes the new festival saying:

"'Jabberwocky', the poem in the wonderful 1871 Lewis Carroll book Through the Looking-Glass, is firstly a brilliant word and also the origin of the word 'portmanteau.' In it, Humpty Dumpty eloquently explains that in a portmanteau, 'there are two meanings packed up into one word.' Jabberwocky thus gives us words such as 'chortled,' a combination of 'chuckle' and 'snort,' and 'frabjous,' a blend of 'fair,' 'fabulous,' and 'joyous.' Jabberwocky, the festival, is thus an elegant way to package up this collaboration between Pitchfork, ATP, and Primavera.'"
