Arsenio Hall has announced that Prince will make a rare late night appearance on his show on March 5. The Purple One sent a "clone" to make the offer, promising to deliver "a performance you'll never forget."
In a letter he presented to Hall he wrote:
"Welcome back to late night. You have truly been missed. Please give my letter-bearing clone a hug and a pound. Here's why I'm writing you. The Arsenio Hall Show has always been so welcoming to us in the past, and we wanted to return that favor. Just say the word, and we will bring our whole crew over to your place and do a performance you will never forget. Just incase you haven't heard and I've been practicing, and I've gotten pretty good now.
If that's cool, we'd like to come in next week, perhaps Wednesday. Have your people call my people and we'll invite some more people, like all of America. — Prince."
Hall responded to the offer saying, "I don't have people. The answer is yes." So, looks like Prince will be taking over the show this Wednesday to perform several songs and chat with Hall about what's in store for him and his band 3rdEyeGirl.
