Could Justin Bieber's new album already have a release date? As the pop star teases his new single "What Do You Mean?" with its Aug. 28 drop, new reports indicate that his Believe follow-up will be released in November.
Bieber's next studio album is reportedly due for release on Nov. 13. After the new album briefly appeared on Hits Daily Double, sources told Billboard that the release date was on the horizon. However, Bieber's camp and the singer himself have yet to confirm the album news.
The fall release date makes sense, given that "What Do You Mean?" will come out roughly three months before the LP. A mid-November drop date also gives Bieber a big sales push for the holiday season.
In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Bieber revealed that "What Do You Mean?" will be a "fun" and "summery" single, focusing on how "girls are often flip-floppy." As the single's release date comes ever-nearer, Bieber has been tapping famous friends such as Kyle Jenner, James Corden and Ed Sheeran to help him count down the days until Aug. 28.
Details surrounding Bieber's new album remain scarce, though the 21-year-old singer has been in the studio with everyone from Rick Rubin to Skrillex in recent months. His recent single "Where Are U Now" with Jack U also indicates that the lyricism will take on a personal touch, perhaps in the wake of his breakup with longtime on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.
